I just want to know a bit more about ships and crews for characters that already own a spaceship. Could they just bring over their own ship wholesale, or do they still need to go through the same process of building a new one and crew like everyone else.

In Hat Kid's case specifically I don't really think it's anything that overpowered minus the time fuel where she would have a steep advantage. But I also have no idea what all the qualifications are.
