Fortuna: The Ultimate Treasure, the Goddess of Fortune, and the Lucky Star on the far end of the universe. Whoever controls it will have all their wishes come true. An eccentric genius, obsessed with the legends, created an advanced A.I. designed to outlive them and spend its entire existence with the sole purpose of divining the best way of obtaining the treasure. After an untold amount of time, the A.I. came to a solution: quantity AND quality.
Calling upon all the greatest talents in the universe, a vast fleet is assembled: a loosely united A-Team designed to find the treasure through numbers.
What the winning Privateer decides to actually do with the treasure is up to them. Whether the Privateers use the power of the treasure to immediately subjugate their homeplanets, betray each other and kill each other over the finish line, or fall to any number of grisly fates is not of any concern; all the A.I. cares about is that the existence of the treasure will be proven, and that will be one of its own to do it.
