I checked. I think they run on lightning.
[That's the closest description that Linhardt can come up with for how electricity feels to his magical senses: Like natural lightning. But how does it not constantly ground? Lighting can't provide consistent energy. And how do they know where to go?
Still, the man's right that they might be dangerous, whatever they are, and Linhardt is not a melee fighter and is quite happy to stand behind the man with a sword. The man who based on his stance knows how to use the sword. It's also a well-made sword.
