Duo is laughing as soon as Quatre’s cheeks begin to flush. Yes, he knows, and while he may mess with Quatre from time to time about it, it’s in good fun. He has his own affections for certain ones among them, so he can hardly speak about Quatre and Trowa. “Oh yeah, bullshit.” Those violet blue eyes roll as he snaps a drawer shut, still laughing lightly to himself.

With Quatre there aren't many guards to have. Heero tends to take things too literally, and Wufei corrects him with all the snide commentary of a know it all, but Quatre… gives him some measure of peace.

He appreciates it, in these moments.

“You never know when he might back flip outta a rafter to check on you, you know.” Another one of those sly smirks before he seemingly sets to business re : their currently available resources.

“I have Deathscythe and Wufei has Altron. Two of five ain’t the best but it’s better than net zero.”
